This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information collected through our website and chatbot services.Controller vs. Processor. For personal information we collect about our clients (e.g., business contacts/billing), aiChat Services is the controller. For personal information submitted by end users through client chatbots we host, the client is the controller and aiChat Services acts as the processor (service provider).

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or other marketing purposes.
Chatbase: Hosts and manages chatbots (see Chatbase Privacy Policy).
Stripe: Processes payments (see Stripe Privacy Policy).
We only share data with vendors necessary to provide the Service and require them to protect it appropriately.
Chatbot leads: Retained up to 12 months, unless the client requests earlier deletion.
Billing/payment records: Retained as required by law (typically 7 years).
Backups/logs: May persist for limited periods before secure deletion.
Our website may use cookies and analytics tools to measure usage and improve performance (e.g., IP address, browser type, referring pages). You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but functionality may be limited.Global Privacy Control (GPC). Where required by law, we honor GPC signals. Industry standards for “Do Not Track” are not yet uniform, so we do not currently respond to DNT signals.
We take commercially reasonable steps to protect data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction (including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring). However, no system is 100% secure.If a data breach materially affects client data, we will notify affected clients promptly and within 72 hours where legally required.
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to:
Access, correct, or delete your personal data
Request a copy (portability)
Restrict or object to certain processing
Opt out of marketing communications
End users of client chatbots: please submit requests to the client (the controller).Clients and website visitors: submit requests to [email protected]. We will respond within 45 days (and may extend once by an additional 45 days where reasonably necessary, with notice). If we deny your request, you may appeal by emailing the same address with the subject line “Privacy Appeal.”
8. Children’s Data
Our Service is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 where stricter law applies). We do not knowingly collect children’s data. If discovered, it will be deleted promptly.
Clients are responsible for displaying their own website privacy policies and any industry-specific disclaimers (e.g., attorney advertising, financial compliance).
We may update this Policy periodically. The “Effective Date” reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
